This week after school pickup, we have enjoyed a few brief outings in town. One day we met some friends at Krispy Kreme on Battleground in Greensboro. If you haven't had their soft serve ice cream, you gotta try it. We didn't eat it this time, but it's yummy. Mini donuts are great for little ones. Another after school treat was a cookie and milk (chai latte for mommy) at the newly expanded Delicious Bakery on Lawndale. Other favorite treat stops are:
-Coco for Loco Chocolate Shop on Westover Terrace
-Gnam Gnam gelato on Lawndale Dr.
-Feeney's Yogurt Bar on New Garden/Horse Pen Creek
Nothing like an after school treat!
We also went bowling after school one day at Triad Lanes on Wendover Ave. That is a really nice bowling facility. Not crowded, fairly clean and it has a FUN gameroom that Nick loves. The prizes are dispensed automatically in exchange for tickets. No waiting in line to collect your kid-junk.
